Past, lessons learned and/or reflections

I wish to dabble in this “art” of creating thought-provoking comments, and ideally help with content. And I believe that, through past experiences, lessons learned and/or reflections, it can be a viable path.

Yesterday, after a long time, I returned to enjoy a movie at the cinema with the family. It was a pleasant surprise, not only for being with my wife and daughter, but for the technological innovation implemented in traditional and tiring processes, such as buying popcorn at a premiere screening. Now you can do it online, and avoid long waiting times.

We saw Gladiator II. Obviously the theme of leadership is recurrent, and is present throughout the plot; but I connect it with a reflection that a strategic partner, they express it very well!

“At ADVISA they believe that the leader is the window through which an employee sees the rest of the organization.”

This being so, the character of Lucius was the means by which the Roman people could access and connect to the Platonic dream of the grandfather, Marcus Aurelius, “There was a dream that was Rome, and it will come true”.

The leader is able to convey ideas clearly and persuasively, and to listen actively to his or her team. This not only helps resolve conflicts, but also promotes a constant flow of ideas and feedback; a good leader is not afraid to delegate responsibilities, recognizing that each team member has unique skills that can contribute to collective success.

Ultimately, being a leader implies not only leading, but also serving and supporting; with honesty and transparency to generate trust and respect.

If you are interested in discussing the subject in more detail, I am at your service!

Thank you
